Can't say enough great things about Accuvision Lasik. The whole team was was attentive, went over everything, was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and put my mind at ease. Extremely frustrated with these people. My exam was fine minus the fact that the doctor "forgot" she was supposed to work that day and I had to wait for her to show up. I paid out of pocket via my FSA account, and was not provided an itemized invoice even though I requested one. Later, when my FSA requested the invoice, I contacted the office 4 times with no response. No one answers the phone, returns voicemail, or responds to messages sent via their website. I stressed the importance an urgency of the matter, but that didn't matter. I'm now out $142 because these people can't do their jobs. It's not that hard to pick up a damn phone.

I had my LASIK done here with Dr. Hammonds just last week. By far one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m less than 48 hours from having had my procedure and it feels like it never happened. No discomfort. Clear vision. This is awesome! The team here went above and beyond to explain everything and keep me comfortable throughout the process. 10/10 will recommend Dr. Hammonds and Accuvision LASIK to friends and family. I had my Lasik procedure done here about a month ago and I couldn't be happier with the process or the results! Dr. Hammonds, Dr. Rauch, and their team are excellent caregivers. During the pre-op visits, Tami and Dr. Rauch were very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They did a great job outlining expectations for the procedure and post-op care.

The procedure itself went off without a hitch. Dr. Hammonds is an excellent surgeon! He answered all my questions about the process very well and did a great job communicating exactly what was going on during the surgery so I never felt uneasy.

One small thing to improve would be to update the informational brochure on various eye surgeries. For example the section on lasik still mentions the use of a mechanical unit to make the corneal flap, whereas in reality Dr. Hammonds uses a femtosecond laser. Other surgical descriptions may also need their info updated.

The only part of the whole experience that left a sour taste in my mouth was the inconsistency in accepted payment methods. Part of the informational letter they gave me clearly stated that they accept personal check. However, during one of my pre-op appointments I was informed that they would not accept any check. Instead, I was offered to apply for a credit card with a company that Accuvision is partnered with. It worked out in the end, but going through a credit card application was not something I expected or appreciated at that point.

Aside from the payment method hiccup, lasik was a 10/10 experience and I'm happy to be seeing clearly now!

My experience at Accuvision LASIK was fantastic. Every single individual and interaction with Tami, Teri, Dr Rauch, and Dr Hammonds was top notch. I was nervous going through this process but their guidance and expectations set throughout the entire process were incredibly helpful. I am on week 4 post surgery and still can't believe the difference and quality of life improvement the surgery and experience was! I put this surgery off for years and wish I did it sooner!
